A German court’s ruling in favor of AdBlock Plus (a plug-in that blocks ads on websites such as Facebook, YouTube, etc.) is a reminder that privacy still matters as does fighting for it!

Google’s ‘Contributor’ allows end-users to pay a nominal-fee (at this juncture anyway) in order to view ad-free websites… look for lots of copy-cat ideas to continue as the ‘net matures and firms seeks additional revenue streams.
