Yes, that’s right. An endangered crested black macaque that reported snapped a selfie is the center of a dispute regarding DRM, public domain and ownership, etc. What’s absurd about this entire ‘controversy’ is the whole issue revolving ownership in and as far as human kind’s orientation towards the natural world and the continued negative impact we (as a species) have on the environment.
