Pirate Bay’s move to cloud-based computing could have some really interesting ramifications… such as: legal jurisdiction, how / who to serve cease and desist to as well as a potential for an increase in P2P file-sharing as their IP is (potentially) harder to track (amongst other variables).

Redmond’s set the release date and price for their (long overdue, me-too) Tablet… the question many are wondering is: does the world really need another tablet (most notably, one from Microsoft?) Softbank’s investment whereas the firm will take a 70% stake in Sprint could be a game-changer in at least two respects: one) the potential for kicking AT&T / Verizon in the seat of the pants regarding their (current) American-market duopoly; and, two) it possibly marks a turning point for a Japanese VC’s approach to shifting their focus from the domestic to international market (both, arguably long overdue)…

Meanwhile back on Mars… Curiosity made an interesting discover of a rock that scientists claim they’ve never seen on the planet before (which just so happens to be common in rift zones on Earth). Perhaps this is yet another example of how all life within the universe is interconnected (despite humanities’ far too often limited ability to fully grasp this possibility).
