Softbank’s introduction of a ‘robot with emotions’ could be a harbinger for two important developments in AI (Artificial Intelligence): 1) Behavior-based robots (that learn said orientation over a period of time); and, 2) Greater autonomy for the OECD’s increasingly geriatric population.
