Given that AT&T is essentially just the recombined parts of how it once was incorporated (sans Lucent Labs which was their former crown-jewel) it shouldn’t really come as any surprise that the firm was rated – last – once again in America!

Apple’s PR and just plain practical mapping application misfire / disaster continues to send ripples internally as another Executive was fired this week. Granted, losing one’s job is never easy; however, aside from canning those who Captain Cook has deemed responsible… how about Apple simply just fully apologizing which would be an exceptional step towards cleaning this mess up? This, of course, is aside from obviously releasing a functional / viable map application!!!

If you’ve been on-the-fence regarding purchasing an e-Reader, you missed out (unless you were paying attention) on Amazon’s Kindle sale (that reportedly went extremely well). Granted, a Kindle is not a Tablet. Nevertheless, even if Amazon is a loss-leader regarding selling said Hardware… they stand to gain ground via any given end-user being (now) tied into their eco-system post-purchase (boding well for the firm – depending upon one’s buying behavior).

As records are being broken for Smartphones and Tablets shipped / sold during the 2012 Holiday Season; an obvious question is: how are traditional brick-and-mortar schools going to maintain their station (given the proliferation of such mediums as TED / Khan Academy / edX, etc.) and the readily available, decentralized access that said device provides to Higher Learning?
