Believe it or not, there is actually one (US) Senator that is pro-privacy as well as in favor of repelling one of the more draconian / Orwellian aspects of the post-9/11, Patriot Act… (which, arguably, had little to do with what ‘patriotism’ means in both the letter as well as the spirit of the term itself!) Let’s hope that their efforts are not just successful but supported by other voices of reason (if there is said orientation remaining in Washington, DC)…
