Microsoft’s decision to build an 84 inch/213 cm / 4K Surface Hub (i.e., a giant computer screen) in America is a great idea. The on-going challenge for the overall High Tech industry is building a sustained, in-country, manufacturing-base versus the occasional headline/marketing grabbing here and there news-bite!

Captain Cook’s (aka Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO) privacy-speech is laudable… although it omitted the simple fact that Cupertino collects mass amounts of data ranging from how consumer’s use their products to allowing third-parties to pitch their goods/services via the firm’s iAd product embedded in any given ‘free’ application the company offers. A slight but significantly important omission!
The biggest surprise might have been the firm’s Android-offering regarding their ‘new’ music-streaming service!
