Due to currently not having an opt-out feature, Facebook’s new photo-sharing app, Moment, and the facial recognition technology therein will not be launched in Europe (until said opt-out feature is offered to any given potential end-user).

Smartphone Spying.

South Korea’s governmental ruling mandating the installation of an application (created by the government no-less) monitoring Smartphone usage of those 19 and under is not without (major) controversy… even Orwell could not have imagined this!
