‘net Non-Neutrality…

As America’s Telecommunications Industry continues to focus / lobby on tiering the Internet thereby skirting the real issue: overall (broadband) ‘net access speeds continue to fall woefully behind the OECD, a viable question is: what happens when ad-free websites conveniently fit with a tier-model whereas those that can afford ‘the fast lane / paying tolls, etc.’ also decide that ad-free websites are their choice? If so, it would seem that the ‘Digital Divide’ has not only taken a firm hold in the nation that pioneered said medium but (once) argued against the (supposed) dangers of the haves versus have-nots… Proving once again the maxim: profits over people (as evidenced how many times now?)
